Do you paint on commission?

I happily stand by my art, however, if you are not completely satisfied with your purchase for any reason, you may return it for a full refund only. Please see below for more information on my policy.

Fly Fishing Hat Returns
Returns
All hat returns must be initiated within three (3) days of your delivery date. All returned items must be in new and unused condition, with all tags and labels attached. I cannot accept returned hats if they have been worn, if they are damaged, or if any tags are removed.

Return Process
To initiate the return of a hat, please contact me at lauren@laurentysonartist.com within three (3) days of your shipping delivery date to receive a return shipping label.

Hat & Print Refunds
Refunds
After receiving your return and inspecting its condition, I will process your refund. Please allow at least five (5) business days from the receipt of your item for me to process. Refunds may take 1-2 billing cycles to appear on your credit card statement, depending on your credit card company. I will notify you via email when your refund has been processed.

What techniques do you use to protect your original hand-painted hats from wear and tear?
I hand-paint each original hat with water-based acrylic paint. And each finished hat is treated with two layers of fabric protector spray.
A fabric protectant treatment helps repel liquids and block stains without changing the look and feel of the fabric. Once treated, the hat is left to air dry for a couple of days. I want to make sure there aren't any lingering orders.
To help your hat have a long life full of color and vibrancy, about twice a year treat it with a fabric protectant like Scotchgard. That will help it hold its color and be easier to spot-clean.
